For this project, I designed a multi-page travel magazine spread focused on Jackson Hole, Wyoming, applying key principles of publication design such as hierarchy, contrast, and readability. I used bold typography to establish a strong visual entry point, while carefully structured body text and spacing guide the reader through the content in a clear and engaging way. Consistent alignment and a balanced layout help maintain a clean, organized composition across the spread.
Using Adobe InDesign, I incorporated tools such as text frames, paragraph styles, and grid-based alignment to ensure typographic consistency and precision. I also refined leading, tracking, and image placement to enhance readability and overall visual flow.
This project strengthened my understanding of designing for print, including setting up proper margins, bleed, and image resolution to ensure a polished final output. It also reinforced the importance of how design decisions translate from screen to physical form, particularly in terms of color, scale, and clarity.
